To strengthen our SPM team and to support us in supplier development and qualification, we are looking for a
Supplier Performance Manager (m/f/o)
Tasks:
- Responsibility for supplier development and qualification for purchased parts
- Set up and support the SPM team to achieve departmental targets
- Organize and support the team in releasing parts according to project timelines
- Support and guide the team in working with suppliers to achieve continuous improvements in quality and cost
- Managing the Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure processes and quality
- Coordination of parts and production process releases
- Preparation of risk analyses
- Planning audits in accordance with VDA 6.3
- Initiating and implementing escalation and development processes for critical suppliers
- Providing project reports, ensuring KPIs
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business with a corresponding specialization required
- Experience in leading teams
- Fluency in written and spoken English required
- Work experience in the automotive or quality industry preferred
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Several years of experience in supplier management (VDA 6.3, ISO 90001 etc.), TISAX audit knowledge an advantage
- Experience with PPAP requirements desirable
