Internship / Working student Purchasing Management (m/f/o)

To strengthen our Purchasing Management team, we are looking for the following person to start as soon as possible
Internship / Working student Purchasing Management (m/f/o)
Tasks:
- Assist in Purchase Order Management:
Create and process purchase orders based on company needs. Track orders to ensure timely delivery and follow up with suppliers on order status.
- Supplier Communication:
Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, clarify order details, and confirm delivery schedules. Assist in maintaining relationships with vendors and resolving any purchasing issues.
- Inventory Monitoring:
Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status. Assist in forecasting demand and ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Data Entry and Analysis:
Input purchasing data into the system and ensure accuracy. Assist in preparing reports on purchasing activities, including cost analysis and vendor performance.
- Research and Sourcing:
Support the sourcing of new suppliers and products by conducting market research.
Analyze supplier offers and compare pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Administrative Support:
Assist with filing, organizing contracts, and maintaining supplier records. Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed.
- Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all purchasing processes comply with internal policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to purchases and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- Written and spoken command of English is mandatory
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills, team orientation is necessary along with computer competency, e.g. MS Office applications.
