In order to manage the general ledger, support tax matters and ensure compliance with local accounting standards, we are looking to recruit a new member of staff for the Finance & Controlling department as soon as possible.
Accountant | Financial Accounting (m/f/d)
Tasks:
- Management and monitoring of all posting transactions in the general ledger and sub-ledgers
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts/subledger accounts and ensuring accuracy
- Group consolidation
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Ensuring compliance with all local accounting standards and regulations
- Ensuring that all taxes/duties are paid on time
- Preparation of tax returns and professional support for all tax matters within the Group
- Cooperation with tax advisors and other external auditors
- Implementation and maintenance of internal controls to ensure compliance
- Support with internal audits
- Analysis activities
- Support with budgeting
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
- Further training as a certified accountant or a degree specialising in finance
- Professional experience in accounting
- Experience in working with ERP systems such as SAP and LucaNet
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a team
- Load capacity
- High affinity for numbers and accuracy
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Communication skills
